LEGAL NOTICE
We attempt to give brief explanations for construction tasks on this site. The procedures we give here are not inclusive of every step required, but are an outline of scheduled events. These procedures have been used in the workplace and are proven ways to do the tasks. We do not claim our way is the ONLY way to do these tasks.
A popular construction how-to site proclaims, “Watch my video and I’ll make you an expert trim carpenter in fifteen minutes.” Where was this guy when I was learning the trades? I know people who have actually been doing the work for fifteen years and are not, by my standards, experts. No video is going to make you anything. If you have the skills, you can become proficient with “practice”. After you read how we suggest you do something, go to the forums or email us with questions you need answers to.
Construction is one of the most dangerous of professions. Even craftsmen who do the same tasks repeatedly are sometimes injured in that process. Please, consider the dangers associated with any work you plan to do. Do not place yourself in harm’s way because of lack of the right equipment to do the work. Do not attempt tasks that require more people than you have available.
You agree to use any and all advice found at AskBubbaBuilder.com at your own risk. This site assumes no responsibility for accidents or injury related to any of the construction tasks documented herein. Working safely with power tools, electricity, or other construction equipment or products, is the responsibility of the person doing the work. Every person doing construction or home improvement tasks should be aware of his or her capabilities, and should not attempt to do tasks that are dangerous or unsafe for their abilities. Even if no mention is given to safety in the procedures, it is assumed that everyone knows to work within the guidelines of safe practices. If there is any question to the safest way to do any construction job, please ask about those concerns before proceeding with the work.
