GLOSSARY
Fascia - is a term which generally describes any vertical surface which spans across the top of columns or across the top of a wall. From the Latin word, meaning "band" or "doorframe." Bubba's meaning - That piece of wood or metal you see at the end of the rafters.
Soffit - The exposed underside of any overhead component of a building, such as. arch; balcony; beam; cornice, or; lintel. Bubba's meaning - The horizontal piece under the overhang around the house or ceiling of the porch.
stob - A short piece of wood driven in the ground, used for anchoring a brace.
